Robert Hampton Gray VC Memorial Bursary

Naval Association Canada - Calgary Branch invites post-secondary students to apply for the Robert Hampton Gray, VC Memorial Bursary.

The NAC – Calgary Branch is pleased to remind the naval community that it sponsors an annual Bursary in memory of Lt. Robert Hampton (Hammy) Gray, VC, for whom the Naval Museum of Alberta is dedicated.

The two thousand dollar ($2,000) bursary is offered annually to a full-time student registered in any recognized post-secondary academic institution. It is open to current members of the Royal Canadian Navy, the Sea Cadets and Navy League officers. Past members of each of these groups can also apply and can sponsor their sons, daughters and grandchildren. Specific criteria are listed in the application form.

The award is made based on the financial need to a student based on the honest completed submission of the attached Bursary application form.

Applications must be completed and submitted to scholarship@naccalgary.ca by no later than March 31, 2025. All applications will be reviewed by a specified review panel from the NAC – Calgary Branch, and the winning applicants will be contacted by the NAC-Calgary Branch.
